HONORARY CONSULATE OF UKRAINE IN NEPAL
The Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Nepal is headed by Mr. Kiran Vaidya; the Consular Patent and Consular Exequatur being given to him in the year 2001 and renewed in the year 2021.
The functions of honorary consuls are set out in the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, 1963. While the roles and functions performed by honorary consuls can vary, the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in the Federal Republic of Nepal is primarily appointed to provide:
- Consular services and/or assistance to Nepali citizens and Ukrainian citizens in Nepal
- Support local Nepali and Ukrainian community efforts
- Provide visa related information to Nepali citizen interested in travelling to Ukraine.
- Assist in the development of trade and economic relations between Nepal and Ukraine
